Aluminium

The growing emphasis on greater fuel efficiency has sparked an increasing demand for lighter weight materials in the automotive industry.

The application of aluminium as an alternative to steel and other heavier materials has dramatically increased the need for quality aluminium and non-ferrous metals

As aluminium is a publicly traded commodity, it is often subject to heavy price fluctuations. In order to minimise the impact of price volatility, Honda Trading Europe has established methods to help stabilise prices.

Currently, Honda Trading Europe and its suppliers in Europe are involved with procurring and processing most of the aluminium that is used at Hondas' European production facilities.
